I went out for a movie with Jess and Jhu.
Yea, its Alvin and the Chipmunks. Entertaining.. Love Simone. LoL.

Then, head to Tea Tac Toe to meet up with Jia Xiang. Jess suppose to be the "surprise" for him. But he is not surprise coz apparently he somehow know that I will bring "someone" to meet up with him. Not fun dy. :( We lepak there for almost an hour. Gossiping. :D

A place where u can drink, play games and go online.. Nice place to relax & hang out with friends. :)

The four of us - Me, Jess, Jia Xiang and Ben went to Hidden Recipe for dinner. I had a "sinful" dinner. Haiz... *how to lose weight if like this* Dad will surely disown me.. :(
But never mind, still got the bf. lol

Currently, I am doing things that I love to do.

Also not to forget, enjoying my last semester going out with different group of friends. :)

For the next 15 days, I will spend most of my time in my room because I am participating in a photography competition which needs a very high commitment as in I have to stalk their page every hour till the theme for the day is out. Then, I need to find photos that are suitable with the theme or take a set of new one and send to them. This was my daily routine for the past 15 days and the coming 15 days.

I also got plenty of time for reading now. Finish 1 book and got 4 more to go.. :) Miss doing it.

Time for myself.

For the past 2 months, I was doing a part time job at a photostat shop near USM. Early this week, I quit my job. Means no more extra $$ to spend.... :(

Wondering why I quit? Well, its because I start to realise that the part time job is changing to a full time job. I spend most of my time working than studying. Once I finish my class in the morning , I go to work straight, then come back to room after 7 or 8pm. It become a daily routine for week days and this scares me.

Other than that, it is also because I don't have time for myself, to do the things that I love to do. I miss reading, I miss going around taking photos, I miss the time when I can just sit at the beach and watch sunset and a lot more other little little things. Plus, I also need time to study. Can't do anything much if I come back at 8pm.

So, i decide to quit.

In the first place, I start working because I have too much free time and I don't wana waste it without doing anything. Because usually if I am free, I can't stay still in my room for long. I somehow will end up going somewhere with my 550D babe. Means more money is wasted.

Now, I got more time for myself and I won't misuse it. :D

Cause this is the last time where I will be this free. Next year, I am moving to the working world. :)

Sometime I just love to sit at the beach and do nothing.

First Time At Flea Market.

I am sorry coz didn't update my blog "soon" as I promised before. Was caught up with work. :D

But here I am now... :)

So, here is my story.

I went to a flea market for the first time in my life. It was at Straits Quay. Thanks to Jhu and Xin Yin, because of them, I got the chance.

Basically, I think flea market is about the same as night market. :D There are people who are selling clothes, accessories, bags, and a lot more other stuff that you don't need. Its just that night market got more foods and the price of the things are way more cheaper. <--- Maybe cause the quality? BUT of course things at flea market are more nicer than night market. :)

This is just an opinion from me who don't know much about the outside world. :D

I was inspired to write my own life lessons after I read a famous blogger's post.

Mine might be not as great as hers but this is what I learned from my 24 years of life. :)

So, here we go.... the 24 life lessons of my 24 years life.

1. You need to fail in order to achieve success.Fail once doesn’t mean you will fail forever. Rise and climb the stairs tosuccess. You can’t be on top if you never start from bottom.

2. Opportunities are always there. Youjust have to find it. Sometime, it takes a lot of time and patience.

3. If something/someone is fated for u, nomatter how long it takes, you will get it/them in the end. It’s just the matterof right moment.

4. Don’t be greedy. Be happy with what youhave. Sometime, it is better this way.

5. Friends are important, they have greatinfluence in your life. So, chose your friend wisely.

6. Make mistakes, lots of it. Cause that’sthe way you learn about life.

7. We need to forgive and forget, if onlyeither one, you can never move on completely.

8. Look at the world with your inner eyes.Then only you will discover the true beauty of it.

9. Every beautiful moment need to becaptured coz it won’t happen twice.

10. You will only know who your realfriends are when you are in trouble.

11. Love is beautiful and also hurtful atthe same time.

12. Reality always hurt, that’s why it iscall as reality.

Before this, every time I wana use my camera, I have to take off the lens cap and keep it in my bag. The difficult part is when I wana find the tiny little thing back among the all stuff that I have in my bag. Headache.

But now, I don't have to put the lens cap in the bag anymore. I can hang the cover at my bag and put the lens cap in it.

Easy right? :D No trouble.

The part that I like most about this cover is the tiny camera charm. Its nice right. Am in LOVE with it. LoL.

Its an interesting movie where you can actually see the "feelings" of the chimpanzee through their faces--> high tech visual effect.

The double 8 date.

Well, nothing special happen on this date. :D

It was a normal and boring day for me again. So, I decided to take out my photography magazine to read. Its my EOS 550D user's guide which bie bought for me.

And I found something interesting to do. I call it the light art. LoL. It was my first time. :D

Lets move on to the new shoe rack topic.

Yea, dad bought a tall shoe rack yesterday...mainly to put all his shoes. So far he got 10 pairs of shoes, and each of it is not less than RM200 (I think), definitely more than RM100. LoL. His aim is to collect 40 more shoes. Don't ask me why. Guess its his "hobby".

Most of his shoes are still in good condition, but he don't wear them anymore. His reason is because they are out of fashion. He just wants to collect them. Dad oh dad.

The first three rows are filled with daddy's shoes. The empty row is for him also. Only 1 row for me and 1 row for my sista, the bottom 2 rows are for my brother. If you are wondering which row is for my mom, well, she don't have any coz she don't go out much like us so her shoes are kept in the shoe box. She will only take it out when she needs to use it. Oh, dad said when he bought new shoes, ours will need to find a new home.

The last story for this post.

Brother received his PLKN letter yesterday. He was suppose to go for it 2 years ago, but he didn't and he don't wana be on the run till he is 35 years old, so he decided to join the 3rd batch for this year.

Since they said he can chose to join in from any date between 13 to 24th September, the sisters decided to send him off only on the last date which is the 24th. :D We don't want him to go and suffer earlier. LoL.

Its august 4th already.... left 1 more month for freedom. LoL. Yea, I am desperate for it.

So, a little update about whats going on in my life.

Yesterday, I received a call from a one of the shop in my area and they offer me a job. The thing is the pay is way tooooooo low. So dad asked whats the point working there for 1 month with such a low pay....which means----> You don't have to work, just stay at home do nothing.

Believe me or not, I am a 24 years old girl who don't have any work experience....unless working with my dad is counted. :D

Last week, I bought a new novel, Mini Shopaholic. I finish reading it already. Still, the story is all about Becky, and a little bit of Minnie here and there.

Should see how they keep their straight with no reaction when they express their feeling. FAIL.

Currently, I am waiting for the new semester to re-open in September... coz I am extending 1 more semester...my heart still reluctant to leave USM. lol.

I tried to find part time work around my area...but couldn't find any.. coz no body wana hire me...
So basically, I am wasting my time doing nothing.

Last Sunday, me and my siblings went out "rounding" with daddy. If you were wondering where was my mom, well, she decided to stay at home. She is the love-to-stay-at-home person. Not like the other 4 family members who prefer to spend the weekend somewhere other than at home.

Now, let me continue with the story of our journey. LoL.

From my house to Malacca town, it is about 30-40 minutes drive.

Our first stop was the famous Christ Church. There, we spend time outside the building , take picture infront of the church, the fountain and the clock tower.

Later on, we sat 'beca' to A'Famosa. The "beca" guy only give us 5 minutes to be spend there. Damm teruk la they. They charge us RM 15 to n fro from church to A' Famosa with the extra 5 minutes. The whole ride was about 10-15 minutes only.

Then, we move on to Jonker street. Every weekend, this whole street will be full with night markets. You can get all sort of things here. To name a few, there are food and drinks, crafts, cute furnitures and magic stuff.

Finally, I am back to home. :)

Never expected that I will get extra time for my preparation for the final battle. I guess its a good sign. Am gonna work hard and achieve my goal. :) Well, the positive energy is back.

On the other hand, I got an offer to join a 6 weeks job training and after that I will be placed in the government sector. Its something that the government do to help the graduates to get a job. Should I go for it? Is it a good thing? I need opinions...

It started out when bie asked : Girl, why don't you colour your nails like other girls does?
My answer: cause my nails are too cute to be coloured. ~~LOL. just kidding.~~ That was not my answer. I told him that its impossible to colour my nails coz i don't keep my nails long.

Well, that was 1 year ago.

Now, I am into it. Yea, into coloring my toe nails. Till the extend I feel weird when there are no colours.

Haiz... the worst part, i keep buying new colours to add in my collection. I know its a waste of money. But, I am kind of addicted to it. :(

Last night, me had dinner with my beloved coursemates. The first dinner together and 11 out of 18 people came.

The reason why I name this post as the first gathering was because I hope this will be the first gathering of many more to come. :D

Well, we need to at least attend each others wedding right, and me also hope that we will have gathering every few years once if possible. IF POSSIBLE. LoL.

Well, I went for a movie with Jess. Fast and Furious 5. It was a super CUN movie. :D Me liked it.

After the movie, we continue our journey to borders starbucks for the 50% discount drinks. Second last day of the promotion period.

I tried green tea with chocolate chips for the first time. Not bad. But Chocolate cream chip will always be my favourite. :D

For dinner, we went to Manhattan Fish Market. Got student promo. RM10 for a drink and a meal. Cheap right. Tried fish and chips. The portion is small but I am full.

My Thesis.

Last week, around this time, I got my temporary freedom. :D

After few months of hardwork, finally I manage to produce my thesis.

Wana know what was it about? Let me give you a brief idea about my project.

My research was about a type of seagrass called Halophila ovalis at Pulau Gazumbo. I have to study the above ground and below ground biomass of the seagrass. Are you wondering where is Pulau Gazumbo? Well, it is a small island beside the Penang bridge. We can see the island on our left when we are heading towards the mainland from Penang island.

So, thesis done for now. Next is my final exam and my first paper is on 18th April. After the exam, I still have to do my project presentation and thesis correction...

Urrghhhh...stress ah!

Bought a bag for myself last Saturday. Really need a bag where I can carry my 550D baby conveniently.

I got 2 camera bag, but its not nice to carry them when I wana go outing with friends..coz the bags look soo manly. :D

Today is 1st April.

A day where people will try to prank their friends, family and other people around them. Personally, I am not against it. I don't mind if people want to prank me or anybody else BUT I think there is a limit of what can you joke about and fool around.

Certain issues are those issues that are highly sensitive and shouldn't be a joke. For example, the gay issue. If you are the person who said: hey! I am gay and....a few days later said GOTCHA, its an April fool prank shows that you are NOT SENSITIVE AT ALL. I don't think its FUNNY.

They are fighting for their rights in this world and there you are making a prank that you are one of them. WTH seriously? Can't you find something else to joke about?

I am really disappointed with people like this. From this, I can see that you are not mature and NOT SENSITIVE about others feelings. Give respect and earn respect!

Not much people will believe in you anymore, and I am one of them.

FYI, April fool prank should only be done on first April, not a few days before that.

I really wana update my blog as frequent as I can.

I wana write and share some of my feelings and thoughts with people around me.

BUT....i can't..

Everytime I wana write, sure I will stuck at the first sentence. You know why......

First, its because I don't know how to convert my emotion, my feelings and my thoughts into words. I can express myself better when I talk but not in writing. Can speak and can write is 2 different thing... Haiz...

And the second reason is my grammar sucks. My first and second language that I speak frequently till I was 21 years old is Malay and Mandarin. I only start to speak in English when I came into Uni. So, my confidence level is low when it come to writing in English.

There are a lot of people out there who love to criticize all this. Not in the helping way, but in the humiliating way. Then, tell me, how can I not be low confident when it come to speak or write in English.. when this kind of people will just try to "step u till u die" once you say or write something in the incorrect way. :(

Anyway, I learn not to bother and care about them along the way... Come on, nobody is perfect right... So, I don't care..I will write whatever that I want in whatever way, whatever style that I want. This is my place. So, suka hati I la! :P

Now, I just need to learn how to convert my feelings and thoughts into words. Then problem solved. Good luck to me! :D

Hey people! I am back! :D

Just realized that I only wrote 2 post in March...

What to do, got to finish my thesis...So that I can graduate this sem. hehe

Anyway, not much people read my blog... So, no need la always update right... :D

Now, let me update about what I have been doing for the past few weeks. :D

Was rushing thesis and finally i submitted the full draft yesterday. Now, need to wait till next Monday to get it back and do correction.... And in between the rushing period, i manage to steal sometime to go out yumcha with friends, hang out in borders ( my fav hang out spot), watch movie (only 1 kay)....hmm...thats all I think. LoL.

Got a gift and bought myself a gift too. :D

But too bad, can't upload the photo of the gift that I bought for myself coz my cam battery died when I wana take pic. Next time la...

From early November to early December last year, Canon organised '100K Likes - We Cherish You' Photography Contest on facebook. For the 1 month, each day they will release a random theme at a random time on their facebook page. And the first 100 photos that they received from the moment they released the theme will automatically be selected for the contest. By the end of the 30 days, all the photos are judged by the professional judges. They chose winner base on certain criteria that were already set earlier. And 100 winner were selected for the contest.

Hmm...wondering why am I telling you about the contest? :D

Its because I was also 1 of the contestant. I only managed to sent in 15-16 photos and only 13 of my photos were lucky to get in the first 100 photos for each day. So, I didn't put any hope about winning any prizes because the more photos you send in, the more higher chances for you to win. I only got 13 out of 30. Not even half. :(

BUT....It seems that I have talent in photography. .Cause my 13 photos manage to put my name in the winners list. :D

I didn't win anything big but at least there is something, better than nothing right? :P

Last night, me went to Chinese New Year Celebration at Georgetown with a few friends. We were having fun browsing through the streets till the rain start to pour quite heavily. Haiz... Went to little India yesterday with my friends. Had fun.
Went to lab and the lab assistant asked me to come back on Monday coz he still didn't prepare my materials. :( I just hope that i can finish my analysis by next week.
I carried a small box which contain 8 heavy books under the hot sun all the way from sungai 2 to my hostel. Crazy.

This is a scheduled post. So, by the time it is posted up, i am pretty sure that i am out celebrating New Year with my close friends.

Just like that, 2010 comes to the end. For some people, this year might bring a lot of happy memories for them, and for some others, this might be the year that they don't want to remember. But whatever it is, life still have to go on.

I am not here to give a lecture about what should we do with those happy and sad memories part :D Coz i believe each of us has our own way to deal with the memories. Its part of our learning and growing process in this world.

Just a little bit of updates from me.

Today is the first day of my final semester. I woke up early and went for my 8am class. And guess what? The lecturer decided to *ponteng*. LOL. I think they are still in the holiday mode.

So, i went to bio school to take the free printed time table, next to language school to check out my English class venue and finally to Ko-K building to check out when my Ko-K class starts. Then, back to room.

In the afternoon, i went to library to return some books. And surprisingly,i saw the DK foyer still empty. No human activity at all.

Guess its too early for people to hang out there...

Looks DULL and Bored right? :P

Well, maybe in 2 more days, it will be filled with people.

Anyway, good luck in this new semester peeps! Study smart. :) And work harder.

It was supposed to be an outing for 3 people. But, at the very last minute, Fenaz can't make it coz she have things to do. So, left me and Intan. We decided to continue with the plan coz its a Sunday and we don't wana stay in the room do nothing. :D

So, this is how our story goes...

We took a bus to Komtar, went for lunch at J.L Gourmet in prangin mall and then took the free shuttle to Esplanade. The action photos. LOL.

We spend around 30 minutes camwhoring in Esplanade, then we came out from the place wondering where should we head next while waiting beside the road.

Then the trishaw uncle came. He come and asked us where so we wana go...he can bring us...We said we don't know. Then he offer to bring us around the area for 1 hour for only RM25. Since both of us never sit in a trishaw before, and Intan really wants to experienced the journey in a trishaw, we accepted his offer. :)

Most of the photos in this trip were taken from the trishaw. :D Don't wana mafan uncle to do so many pit stop so we just snap photos while he was cycling.

I am back to Penang after 1 week of holiday-ing at home. :( Why is my holiday sooo short?? Wish i can stay longer at home....

Saturday, me went out with my cousin, Durga to the new Jusco in Malacca. The only shopping mall that have J.Co and more advance than the other malls. And soon GSC will be there. :D But they still don't have subway, winter warmers and yada yada yada...... :( lol..i sounds like someone who hunt for food always. :P

The songs, the indoor decoration, the outfit of people working there and also the biggest snowman made of recyclable bottles which the record is in The Malaysia Book of Record. Its 9m (height) x 6m (diameter) big and made of 15,000 1.5 liters recyclable bottles.

Last Saturday, me and Jess rented a car and we went to Penang National Park, Butterfly Farm and the Peranakan Mansion. Jess have to go to a place called Sungai Tukun which is located at Penang National Park for her final year project field trip. So, me followed her. A good morning exercise though. Hiking while enjoying nature beauty. :D

I have no idea what is this thing. It look like baby ALIEN stuck at the spider web. LOL.

After Jess took all the data that she needed, which is about 1 hour after we were there, we proceed to Penang Butterfly farm. Paid only RM5 for each person for the entrance fee cause they were having some promotion for the Mascot launching. :) I bought 2 out of 5 of the Mascot that they launched. No money to buy all. :D And 3 butterfly key chains for my siblings and bie bie. The farm was crowded with human being so i didn't take much picture there...plus it was raining. So, we continued our journey to Georgetown.

Thats all for the heritage and nature part. Now let me story mory about the car that we rented. Its an old Saga. From outside it looks okay, but wait till you sit inside the car and start driving. I don't know how to explain how it feels like. But its really scary. The accelerator keep on giving some problem and i had a bad feeling driving the car. And guess what, disaster happened. Yes, the car decided to broke down 50-100 meter from the 1st avenue car park entrance. And i cause jam at the place for 10 minutes i guess.

I tried to make the car move forward, but everytime i release my handbrake, and step on the accelerator, the car will slide down. So, i decided to asked for help. Thank god there are these 2 gentleman who decided to get down from their car and help us. One of them managed to drove the car to the car park which is at the 5th floor. Got smoke coming out from the dashboard. But its gone after a while. Then, we called the fella that rented the car to us and return back the car. I have no idea what happened to the car now. Worst part, the car road tax already expired 4 months ago. WTH seriously... Trying to cheat students ah?

What I did on 30th November 2010

I woke up quite early today. But then i was lazying on my bed reading my "You're the One that I don't Want" novel. Talking about this novel, suddenly i remembered that on the other night, i purposely read out the title while i was on phone with Bie. His reaction was: huh? Why? LOL. Funny Bie. Then, being a kind and cute gf, i told him that its the title of the novel. Don't worry. Me won't leave you. :) *me is sweet right?* :P

Hmm..so back to my story. Where was I? Oh yea... After an hour of lazying on my bed, i decided to go shower and have my lunch first before i went to library. I took my lunch at Bakti cafe. And received a news from the cafe akak that i always bought my food from. She said that her tender will end in 2 weeks, so there is no more asam pedas for me after that. :( sadnyer. But what to do....My life still have to go on without the asam pedas.

After lunch, me off to library with Fathen. The reason why I went to library is because I need to find a soil manual which will help me when i want to analysis my soil sample, for my final year project. I found 4 books with info of soil analysis. Need to go through each of them before i start my analysis. Haiz... Pening...

After done my "hunting" in library, i end up borrowing 6 books. Wonder how many will i actually take and read. LOL. Then, i went to aquatic lab to meet my senior. She gave me another thick book titled "Methods of soil analysis". -_-" Need to refer to so many books just for my soil particle analysis. Life as a biology student.

On my way back, i saw some of the dead and preserved coral. They are beautiful yet scary a bit. Let me show you some pictures.
